We’re back with another on-site interview for the Final Round! Today, let’s meet our second participant from Malaysia, Muhammad Zaeem Bin Mohd Azari!

Q. Hello! Can you introduce yourself?
A. Hi, I’m Muhammad Zaeem Mohd Azari from Malaysia. I’ve been participating in GITC Final Round since 2022, but this is my first time participating in person. 

Q. This is your third GITC! How do you feel participating in 2024 GITC Final Round held on-site in Manila?
A. It feels amazing, and I’m proud of myself for making it this far. It feels like a dream come true. The journey has been challenging, starting with representing my school in the Malaysia IT Challenge, then moving up through regional, state, and finally national level. 

Q. Wow, that’s incredible! It must feel so rewarding to have come all this way. Your passion for IT is truly inspiring. Are there specific fields within IT that interest you the most?
A. I’m really interested in information technology and computer applications. To prepare for this competition, I reviewed past exam problems and learned various computer skills through social media platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and AI apps.

Q. That’s a very trendy way of learning! Out of all the competition categories, which one do you think you’ve improved in the most?
A. I think the most important categories in GITC are eCreative_IoT and eContent. I wanted to contribute to my team achieving better results in these areas.

Q. Your dedication and sense of responsibility to your team are amazing! Lastly, how do you plan to grow and contribute to the IT field in the future?
A. In the future, I want to become a software engineer. I want to start from the school level so that I can gain experience to make it easier to become an IT engineer. 

Muhammad Zaeem Mohd Azari, our remarkable second interviewee, has worked tirelessly this year to prepare for the GITC Final Round in Manila. Throughout the interview, his passion for IT and his strong sense of teamwork really stood out. Thanks to his and his team’s efforts, he achieved outstanding results in eCreative_Smart Car and eLifeMap, earning the "Excellent (2nd)" award in both categories!
