I am Mark Christian Evangelista and I am currently 22 years old.

I am a Filipino and I was only 17 years old during GITC 2016 in China.

I am now a fourth college student. I have a low vision which is why I was in the visually impaired category.

There are lots of things I really enjoyed during the competition.

Some of those are staying at a very elegant hotel with very accommodating staffs, meeting wonderful people from different countries, receiving a huge support from my family, schoolmates and friends, and finally, winning.

Though we were already winners because of the unforgettable experiences that we had, it still felt us so good to win in a team event called eDesign, and it felt me really proud of my hard work and my coach’s extended effort to win a gold model from eLife and a silver medal from eTool.

I was able to bring home 3 laptops as prizes for each of the event I won.

Participating in GITC is one of the good things happened in my life.

I learned a lot of things about computer literacy and about other people, and winning 3 medals from that big event really counts to my credentials.

Additionally, I am really proud when I am talking about it just like now.

So, if you will be given a chance to participate, then give your best and let your hard work and love for your country decide the next chapter of your career in IT world.
