Our visit to South Korean city of Busan in 2019 was incredibly beautiful, successful where we have filled with joy and a glittering of hope.
If feel lucky and unique to have gotten such amazing opportunity as I feel proud to represent my country in a special global stage with my teacher and other fellow students.
The visit to South Korea showed practical revelation of Ethio-Korean brotherhood in the aspect of civilization, love and unity and we are given the opportunity to learn technology from the our Korean brothers and sisters.
Beyond the competition the experience has created a spirit of “I can do it” in my mind which is unforgettable and remains to lead my life then after.
In this experience I have learnt that countries like South Korea have given various opportunities to disabled members of the society.
They proved that physically disability cannot prohibit anyone from becoming successful in any field of study including technology aspect of education.
To see participants from around 20 countries in one stage is beyond amazing.
It was recreational, educational and exciting which I gained hope to replicate in my country such awakening and awareness.
I would like to take the moment to mention to my fellow citizens that disability is not incapacity to perform.
The difference in skin color or physical disability is not or should not be assumed as factor for development.
From our short visit to Korean we have practically learnt that if opportunities are given to all, disability can equally perform in education and work areas.
Finally I say “Life is Good” this slogan has deep meaning for me.
With good effort, struggle and strength, it provides the zeal to achieve more and more.
I know it requires patience and a lot of hustle which has target to win but not to defeat another person.
Be human. Win without taking advantage of another person.
