My name is Paramuditaya Dyan Prabaswara, the Global IT Leader of GITC 2015. Just call me by Dyan. Everything around me is technology. My life has been helped by technology, therefore I will help technology grow even more. I am a man with poor-low vision, where all most of my activities use a screen reader and a magnifying glass. With these tools and many people supporting me, I was able to reach my current point. I am currently working at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia as IT Officer. I work on application development activities and other activities to support the implementation of an Electronic-Based Government System to achieve One Indonesia Data goals.
GITC gave me a lot of experience, both in the IT field and the experience of visiting Korea and China for the first time. At that time, I gained a lot of new knowledge in the IT world, made new friends from foreign countries, and got a lot of motivation to grow into someone who cares about technological advancements.
One thing that is very interesting and useful is that GITC really help me develop my logical thinking and creativity to complete tasks.
Being the Global IT Leader of GITC has paved the way for me to get a scholarship from the Ministry of Communications and Informatics Republic of Indonesia. I got a full scholarship to pursue my undergraduate education at Sebelas Maret University.
After being the fastest graduated student in Computer Science program, I worked for a big company based in Singapore as an e-Commerce Developer. This is one of my goals that has been achieved.
After some time, I realized that it would be better if I could help the country to become more developed. Therefore, I choose to work for the Indonesian government as an IT Officer in the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia. I hope I could help more people by being a government officer, including providing help for friends who have disabilities to access more perks in the future.
I would like to thank GITC for making my life better.
I would like to thank the YPAC Nasional (Indonesian Society for the Care of Disabled Children) for introducing, bridging, and assisting in all matters related to GITC and my scholarship.
Thank you to the Ministry of Communications and Informatics Republic of Indonesia for providing a full scholarship.
Thank you so much for everyone who have worked so hard to help me get to this point.
