2025 Global IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities – Ulsan Declaration
Ulsan, Republic of Korea | October 31, 2025
Ulsan Declaration
We are young people with disabilities from 16 countries around the world.
We are here in Ulsan for the 2025 Global IT Challenge for Youth with Disabilities, a side event of the APEC Summit.
First, we thank the Government of Korea, LG, and RI Korea, for giving us this chance every year to challenge ourselves and grow.
Today, we stand together to declare the 2025 Ulsan Declaration, sharing our dream for a world where all youth with disabilities can live equally and take part fully in the digital age.
We believe that technology is not just a tool.
It is a window to the world — and a bridge to our dreams.
We may have different disabilities, genders, or languages,
but we all have the same right to learn, to work, and to connect with others.
But as new technologies like AI grow fast,
we worry that if we are left behind, new barriers may appear.
First, when new technologies are made,
please include the voices of youth with disabilities.
Second, give us equal chances to learn
and easy access to digital tools and education.
Third, we want to work, create, and start our own businesses.
We hope AI and remote work bring us more jobs and independence.
Finally, we ask to join the decision-making tables —
in technology, in policy, and in the global community like APEC.
Talk with us, not about us.
We promise to work together beyond borders,
to share our ideas and grow together.
We will not only use digital technology —
we will use it to make the world a better place.
Let’s build a digital world where no one is left behind!
Let’s make it together — with our own hands and hearts!
